Canadians Playing Hockey?
After Bran and the kids got back from McD's today I took Blake outside with me for a few hours. We always have a blast. The weather was amazing, nice and warm. The curtains of the barns were open, and the cows were loving the mild, spring-like temps. Still, winter is still here, they are calling for a winter storm by next weekend, and tomorrow will be 30, compared to the 60 that it was today. An even better reminder that winter still is but that spring is on the way was the small flock of geese on our still-frozen pond. When the dairy was built they needed fill dirt, so they dug a hole, a GREAT BIG HOLE. It filled with water, and our pond was born. In the background of some of the pics you can see the calf ranch...
I would be one ticked off goose though, imagine flying all those miles, needing a rest, spotting a nice, big pond, only to find it froze over. Be like driving extra miles to the next rest stop only to find out the plumbing didn't work!

Davy, you are hilarious! Love you!
Hey - You stole our geese! Ah well, you can keep them - have you seen the size of their sh*t?? lol
We have more than enough geese here. Dirty beasts! Glad they are dumb enough to habitate your frozen pond. :P
Are they still predicting a winter storm there for this weekend? Could you keep that over your way too? I know you love winter storms and geese, right?
